Yay! The festival of lights, Deepavali is just around the corner. This important festival is widely celebrated by Hindus and Indians in numerous countries. Deepavali, also known as Diwali is celebrated with lots of open houses and jovial savoring of mouth-watering cuisine and delicacies. On a more spiritual level, it is actually the celebration of the inner light which outshines all darkness, removes all obstacles and most importantly, awakens the individual to one’s true nature.
During Deepavali Festival, houses are decorated with colour-paper lanterns and with “kolam” this time of year. Kolam is always at the front of the house to welcome guests. The colours and designs usually evoke a smile on the faces of those who look at it. Now, let us put a smile on your face.
